Interior painting in Tampa
Rooms, ceilings, trim and doors. Everything masked, two coats as standard, and cut lines that hold up to being looked at closely.
From$320
Most painting complaints are not about color. They are about the switch plates painted shut, the fuzzy line where the wall meets the ceiling, the roller marks that appear the first sunny morning, and the furniture that came back with a fine mist on it.
We remove the switch plates rather than taping around them, cut by hand, and lay down proper drop cloths. It is slower and it is the entire difference between a painted room and a room someone painted.

Why Tampa is different
Florida humidity changes how paint behaves. It dries slowly and cures slowly, and a second coat rolled on before the first has properly set is how you get lifting and roller marks that only show up weeks later. Running the AC helps, and we work with it on rather than opening the house up.
In bathrooms and laundry rooms we use a mildew-resistant finish as a matter of course, not as an upsell. In this climate a standard flat in a bathroom will spot within a couple of years, particularly on the ceiling above the shower.
And west-facing rooms in Tampa take real punishment from afternoon sun. Deep colors on a west wall fade noticeably faster here than they would further north, which is worth knowing before you commit to a dark accent wall you will be repainting in three years.
Questions
What does a room actually cost?
A standard 12 by 12 bedroom with 8-foot ceilings runs $320 for walls only, $475 for walls, trim and doors, and $690 for the whole room including the ceiling. Water damage, wallpaper removal or ceilings over 10 feet are quoted separately, and quoted before we start.
Do I buy the paint or do you?
Either. If we buy it, materials are added at cost plus a modest markup and itemised on the quote. If you buy it, tell us the finish and we will tell you how much you need.
How long does a room take?
Most single rooms are a day. Two coats need drying time between them, and in Florida humidity that is not a step worth rushing.
