Drywall and plaster repair
Holes, cracks, water stains and settling seams — patched, sanded and texture-matched so the repair disappears instead of announcing itself.
From$145
The difference between a drywall repair and a good drywall repair is entirely in the texture. Anyone can fill a hole. Making the patch vanish under a raking light, in Florida knockdown texture, is the part that takes practice.
We match what is already on your wall rather than approximating it, feather the edges well past the patch, and prime so the repair does not flash through the paint. If we cannot match it invisibly we tell you before we start, not after.

Why Tampa is different
Knockdown is the standard wall and ceiling texture across most of Tampa, and it is genuinely hard to match badly-applied. Too wet and it flattens, too dry and it stipples, and either way the patch reads as a patch forever under afternoon light. This is the single most common thing we get called to fix after someone else has already tried.
Water stains here are usually one of three things: an AC condensate line backing up into the ceiling, a roof leak from a storm, or humidity condensing where insulation is thin. The stain is the symptom. We seal it with a stain-blocking primer so it does not bleed back through, but if the source is still live it will simply return, so we look for it first.
And slab-on-grade construction produces its own crack pattern. Florida houses settle differently to houses on basements, and you get recurring hairline cracks at door and window corners where the wall board is under stress. Those need taping properly, not just filling, or they open again in a season.
Questions
Can you match knockdown texture?
Yes, and we match yours specifically rather than using a generic spray. Texture is the whole job. If your ceiling is an unusual pattern we will say so up front and price accordingly.
My ceiling is popcorn and the house is from the seventies. Can you patch it?
We can patch it, but not until it has been tested. Popcorn ceilings installed before the early 1980s can contain asbestos, and disturbing them without testing is genuinely unsafe and not something we will do. Testing is inexpensive and we will point you to a lab.
Do you paint after patching?
We prime as standard so the repair does not flash. Full painting is quoted separately, from $320 a room, and it is usually worth doing the whole wall rather than spot-painting.
